marker-free

The software tool joint method for marker-free alignment of tilt series in electron tomography (ET). The main features and advantages of this tool are:

1. It combines extrinsic (track-based) and intrinsic (intensity-based) alignment, making it the first joint solution.

2. The method utilizes the interrelationship between the projection model and the landmarks, allowing the localization of landmarks and projection parameters to refine each other iteratively until convergence.

3. The iterative approach makes the solution robust to different initial parameters and extreme geometric changes, ensuring better reconstruction for marker-free ET.
