MineProt

MineProt provides a framework to curate, annotate, and serve high-throughput proteome and protein structure data for structural proteomics analyses.

Key Features:

  • Custom Curation: Enables curation of high-throughput proteome data and construction of personalized servers to tailor curation processes to project-specific requirements.
  • Server Setup and Scripting: Provides server deployment and scripting capabilities for annotating and curating proteins and integrating curation scripts into analysis workflows.
  • Extensible Functionality: Implements a plugin architecture to extend annotation, curation, or data processing functionality.

Scientific Applications:

  • Structural Proteomics Data Management: Supports management and interpretation of large-scale protein structure datasets in structural proteomics.
  • Protein Structure Analysis: Enables detailed analysis of protein structures to support interpretation of biological functions and interactions.
  • Data Sharing and Collaboration: Facilitates sharing of curated protein structure annotations and datasets among researchers.

Methodology:

Builds personalized servers, deploys annotation and curation scripts for proteins, and supports plugin-based extensions.
