MovieMaker
MovieMaker generates short (~10-second) downloadable animations that illustrate protein motions and interactions to visualize dynamic structural processes.
Key Features:
- Input Flexibility: Accepts Protein Data Bank (PDB) files or PDB accession numbers as input.
- Animation Types: Produces animations including simple rotation; morphing between two end-state conformers; short-scale picosecond vibrations; ligand docking; protein oligomerization; mid-scale nanosecond (ensemble) motions; and protein folding/unfolding.
- Output Format: Generates short, downloadable animations suitable for illustrative and analytical purposes.

Employs a superpositioning algorithm combined with Cartesian coordinate interpolation to calculate intermediate structures automatically and does not perform molecular dynamics calculations.
