MRIReco
MRIReco.jl provides high-performance MRI data simulation and reconstruction capabilities for algorithm development and research in magnetic resonance imaging.
Key Features:
- High performance: Generates efficient machine code with performance comparable to C/C++ libraries such as the Berkeley Advanced Reconstruction Toolbox (BART).
- Flexibility and expandability: Built on Julia's package management system to enable modular integration and extension with existing Julia packages for MRI-specific components.
- Simulation and reconstruction: Supports simulation and reconstruction of magnetic resonance imaging data.
- Imaging operators and raw data formats: Implements common imaging operators and accommodates various MRI raw data formats.
- Numerical and signal/image processing: Leverages Julia's capabilities for signal processing, image processing, and numerical computing.
Scientific Applications:
- MRI data simulation and reconstruction: Simulation and reconstruction of magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) data for research purposes.
- Algorithm development and benchmarking: Development and benchmarking of MRI reconstruction algorithms against established implementations such as BART.
Methodology:
Uses Julia's high-level syntax while generating efficient machine code; leverages Julia's strengths in signal/image processing and numerical computing and integrates via Julia's package management system.
