MRMPlusGUI
MRMPlusGUI computes analytical measures for validation and performance estimation of multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mass spectrometry assays, supporting Tier 2 assay assessment as recommended by the Clinical Proteomics Tumor Analysis Consortium Assay Development Working Group.
Key Features:
- Analytical Measure Computation: Computes Limit of Detection (LOD), Lower Limit of Quantification (LLOQ), linearity, carry-over, partial validation of specificity, and Upper Limit of Quantification (ULOQ).
- Assay Development Support: Supports analytical workflows used in development and validation of MRM assays.
- Validation for Tier 2 Assays: Implements assessment criteria aligned with the Clinical Proteomics Tumor Analysis Consortium Assay Development Working Group recommendations for Tier 2 assays.
- Versatility in Application: Provides performance estimation applicable to other targeted mass spectrometry assays beyond those explicitly specified by the Assay Development Working Group.
Scientific Applications:
- Proteomics quantification and validation: Enables precise quantification and validation of peptides in mass spectrometry-based proteomics experiments.
- Assessment of perturbation effects: Supports measurement of assay response to biological and experimental perturbations.
Methodology:
Monitors proteotypic peptides and associated transitions during mass spectrometry runs and implements computational measures to calculate analytical metrics such as LOD, LLOQ, linearity, carry-over, partial specificity validation, and ULOQ.
