NaViA

NaViA analyzes complex native mass spectra to assist assignment and interpretation of protein complex composition, subunit stoichiometry, and ligand binding.

Key Features:

  • Raw data processing: Processes raw native mass spectrometry spectral data for downstream analysis.
  • Peak assignment augmentation: Augments manual peak assignment by supporting peak detection and annotation.
  • Mass–stoichiometry matching: Matches measured masses to the stoichiometry of component subunits within protein complexes.
  • Annotation and sharing: Generates spectrum annotations and supports sharing mass spectra together with their interpretations.

Scientific Applications:

  • Protein complex composition analysis: Determines protein complex composition and subunit arrangements from native MS data.
  • Subunit stoichiometry determination: Infers subunit stoichiometry by matching observed masses to subunit combinations.
  • Ligand binding characterization: Detects mass shifts in native MS spectra to characterize ligand binding to protein complexes.

Methodology:

Performs raw data processing, peak assignment, annotation, mass-to-stoichiometry matching, and supports sharing of spectra with their interpretations.
