Naview
Naview generates dynamic membrane diagrams and annotations for voltage-gated sodium channels (Nav) to visualize structural components and functional sites relevant to channel biology.
Key Features:
- Dynamic Drawing and Annotation: Constructs membrane diagrams that depict six transmembrane segments (S1-S6) across four homologous domains (D1-D4) and annotates voltage sensors, pore-lining residues, ion selectivity filters, glycosylation sites, phosphorylation sites, toxin binding sites, and inactivation loops.
- Annotation Integration: Supports incorporation of user-defined annotations and UniProt accession codes for mapping sequence- and annotation-based information onto diagrams.
- Interactive Visualization: Maps and displays residues, regions, and interrelationships using symbols, colors, and edge connections to represent structural and functional relationships.
- Publication-Ready Graphics: Produces high-quality graphics suitable for inclusion in scientific publications.
