NoncoRNA
NoncoRNA provides a curated database of experimentally supported associations between non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), drugs, and cancer types to support research on ncRNA-mediated drug sensitivity and resistance.
Key Features:
- Manually Curated Data: Entries are manually curated from experimental studies to ensure experimentally supported associations.
- Database Content: Contains 8,233 entries covering 5,568 ncRNAs, 154 drugs, and 134 cancer types.
- Detailed Annotation: Each entry includes ncRNA expression patterns, experimental detection techniques, drug responses, additional targets, and literature references.
Scientific Applications:
- Cancer Therapy Research: Supports investigation of mechanisms of drug sensitivity and resistance mediated by ncRNAs in cancer therapy.
- Gene Regulation and Disease Studies: Supports studies of ncRNA roles in gene regulation, cellular functions, and disease processes, including neurodegenerative diseases and cancers.
Methodology:
Data were collected through rigorous manual curation of experimentally validated ncRNA–drug–cancer associations.
