Osprey-M
Osprey-M performs comprehensive processing and quantitative analysis of in vivo magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) data for metabolite quantification and tissue-corrected results.
Key Features:
- Data Compatibility: Supports multiple common MRS data formats for broad dataset applicability.
- Pre-Processing Capabilities: Implements phased-array coil combination, frequency and phase correction of individual transients, signal averaging, and Fourier transformation.
- Modeling and Quantification: Performs linear-combination modeling using simulated basis sets and spline baseline techniques and integrates MRS voxel coregistration with anatomical images for tissue segmentation and tissue-corrected quantification.
Scientific Applications:
- Dataset Demonstrations: Applied to datasets including 12 PRESS, 11 MEGA-PRESS, and 8 HERMES acquisitions from healthy subjects.
- Conventional and Spectral-Editing MRS: Processes, models, and quantifies data acquired with conventional MRS sequences and spectral-editing techniques such as MEGA-PRESS and HERMES.
Methodology:
Computational steps explicitly include phased-array coil combination, frequency and phase correction of individual transients, signal averaging, Fourier transformation, linear-combination modeling with simulated basis sets and spline baselines, voxel coregistration with anatomical images, tissue segmentation and tissue-corrected quantification.
