pamgeneAnalyzeR
R package for quantitative kinase profiling from PamChip® peptide microarrays
pamgeneAnalyzeR performs automated extraction and quantitative analysis of kinase activity data from PamChip® peptide microarray images to enable high-throughput kinase profiling.
Key Features:
- Automated Data Extraction: Extracts quantitative signal intensities from PamChip® peptide microarray images for reproducible kinase activity analysis.
- R-Based Implementation: Implemented in R to support integration with statistical computing and downstream bioinformatics analyses.
Scientific Applications:
- Kinase Activity Profiling: Quantifies protein phosphorylation patterns across peptide substrates to investigate protein kinase activity in physiological and disease contexts.
Methodology:
Processes images generated by PamChip® peptide microarrays to extract quantitative intensity values corresponding to peptide substrate phosphorylation, enabling comparative and high-throughput assessment of kinase activity across experimental conditions.
