Panama simulates the biophysical behavior of voltage-gated sodium, potassium, and chlorine channels as well as A, M, AHP, calcium-activated potassium, transient-calcium, and leak-calcium channels to model membrane excitability under current-clamp and voltage-clamp conditions.
