PlateEditor

PlateEditor manages multi-well plate layouts and analyzes plate-derived experimental data to support experimental design, dose–response and combination experiments, and visualization for biological assays.

Key Features:

  • Flexibility in Layout Design: Creates complex plate layouts including dose–response curves and multiple combination experiments across plate formats supporting up to 1536 wells.
  • Client-Side Operation: Implements all computation on the client side using pure JavaScript with no data transferred to a server.
  • Heatmap Visualization and Data Aggregation: Generates heatmap visualizations of plate data and aggregates and formats data for export to downstream analysis.

Scientific Applications:

  • High-throughput screening: Supports design and analysis of high-throughput screening assays using multi-well plates.
  • Pharmacological dose–response analysis: Enables design and analysis of dose–response curves for pharmacological and drug-response studies.
  • Combination experiments: Accommodates layout and analysis of multiple combination experiments across plate formats.
  • Data aggregation for downstream analysis: Aggregates and formats plate-derived data for export and downstream computational analysis.

Methodology:

Client-side implementation in pure JavaScript; generation of plate layouts up to 1536 wells; heatmap visualization and data aggregation with data formatted for export.
