PredictProtein Open

PredictProtein Open predicts protein structural and functional properties from amino acid sequences to support analyses including secondary structure, solvent accessibility, nuclear localization signals, and intrinsically disordered regions.


Key Features:

  • Secondary Structure Prediction: Uses Rost Lab's profphd to predict protein secondary structure from amino acid sequences.
  • Solvent Accessibility Prediction: Predicts residue-level solvent accessibility to identify surface-exposed versus buried regions.
  • Nuclear Localization Signal (NLS) Prediction: Identifies nuclear localization signals using the predictnls method.
  • Intrinsically Disordered Regions Analysis: Detects intrinsically disordered regions using the norsnet method.
