ProPAS
ProPAS computes physicochemical properties of proteins and peptides to support their separation, identification, and analysis in proteomics.
Key Features:
- Physicochemical parameter calculation: Computes isoelectric point (pI), hydrophobicity (Hy), and mass weight (MW) for protein and peptide sequences.
- Amino acid composition analysis: Calculates detailed amino acid composition for all input sequences.
- Statistical results and distributions: Generates statistical summaries and number distributions along parameter values and exports results for external charting (e.g., Excel).
