PyPhase
PyPhase performs phase retrieval from propagation-based x-ray imaging in the Fresnel regime to reconstruct phase contrast data for synchrotron and laboratory-based imaging experiments.
Key Features:
- Modular framework: A modular architecture that enables integration and development of phase-retrieval algorithms within the package.
- Implementation of phase-retrieval algorithms: Implements several popular phase-retrieval algorithms for reconstructing images from propagation-based phase contrast data.
- Scalability: Designed to operate on large-scale computing facilities and handle extensive datasets typical of synchrotron radiation experiments.
- Algorithm adaptability: Allows adaptation and enhancement of phase-retrieval algorithms to suit specific experimental conditions.
Scientific Applications:
- Synchrotron propagation-based imaging: Supports phase retrieval workflows for x-ray propagation-based imaging experiments at synchrotron sources, including MAX IV (Lund, Sweden).
- Research domains: Applicable to materials science, biology, and medical research where high-resolution phase contrast imaging is required.
Methodology:
Implements several popular phase-retrieval algorithms within a modular framework to reconstruct images from phase contrast data and to enable adaptation and enhancement of those algorithms for specific experimental conditions.
