QTLViewer
QTLViewer performs QTL mapping and visualization for Collaborative Cross (CC) and Diversity Outbred (DO) mouse populations to identify quantitative trait loci regulating physiological and molecular traits.
Key Features:
- Supported Populations: Analysis targets the Collaborative Cross (CC) and Diversity Outbred (DO) multiparental mouse populations.
- Founder Strains: Works with populations derived from eight isogenic founder strains.
- Genetic Variation: Leverages over 50 million known genetic variants present in these populations.
- QTL Mapping: Maps quantitative trait loci (QTLs) that regulate physiological and molecular traits.
- Analysis Engine: Performs analyses using the R/qtl2 package.
- Visualization: Produces visualizations of QTL mapping results and related analyses generated by R/qtl2.
- Study Repository: Serves as a repository for published studies involving the Collaborative Cross and Diversity Outbred populations.
Scientific Applications:
- QTL Discovery: Identification of QTLs underlying physiological and molecular phenotypes in CC and DO populations.
- Genetic Architecture: Investigation of the genetic regulation and architecture of complex traits in multiparental mouse populations.
- Data Reuse and Comparison: Aggregation of published CC and DO studies to support reuse and comparative analyses across studies.
Methodology:
QTL mapping and related analyses are performed using the R/qtl2 package.
