RadLex standardizes radiological terminology to enable consistent representation of imaging findings and to facilitate structured data mining and comparative research in glioblastoma (GBM) MRI reporting.

Retrospective analysis of preoperative brain MRI reports from 20 consecutive patients newly diagnosed with GBM (January–October 2010); two independent neuroradiologists extracted tumor-related terms and recorded their frequencies; each term was evaluated for an equivalent representation within RadLex and categorized into the four predefined groups.
