RiboDraw: Semiautomated 2D representation of RNA 3D structures

RiboDraw generates two-dimensional (2D) drawings that represent three-dimensional (3D) RNA structures. It produces structured diagrams that annotate noncanonical base pairs, protein interactions, and structural motifs to reflect spatial organization within RNA molecules.

  • Broad RNA Structure Support: Applied to diverse RNAs including Escherichia coli tRNA-Phe, the P4-P6 domain of the Tetrahymena ribozyme, a −1 ribosomal frameshift stimulation element from beet western yellows virus, the 5' untranslated region of SARS-CoV-2, and the 23S and 16S subunits of the Escherichia coli ribosome.
