SAGER integrates genomic and transcriptomic data from Symbiodiniaceae dinoflagellates and marine algae to support gene annotation, expression analysis, and comparative genomics.


Key Features:

  • Genomic and Transcriptomic Integration: Consolidates draft genome assemblies from multiple Symbiodiniaceae species and marine algal genomes from MMETSP and PhyloDB, including transcriptome datasets from diverse culture conditions.
  • Comparative Genomics and Homology Analysis: Provides BLAST-based sequence similarity searches and ortholog identification across Symbiodiniaceae, marine algae, and protists.

Scientific Applications:

  • Coral Symbiosis and Stress Response Research: Enables analysis of gene function, expression patterns, and evolutionary relationships underlying Symbiodiniaceae–coral interactions and environmental adaptation.

Methodology:
