Schema Playground facilitates the creation, customization, and validation of Schema.org-based metadata to improve the FAIRness of biomedical research outputs.

• Schema Exploration: Provides browsing of relevant Schema.org classes to identify appropriate metadata schemas for specific research outputs.
• Customization and Extension: Enables extension and customization of existing Schema.org classes to represent biomedical data nuances.
• Data Validation: Validates datasets against customized schemas to verify compliance with specified metadata standards.
