SECISearch3 Seblastian identifies selenoproteins by detecting eukaryotic SECIS stem-loop elements in 3' untranslated regions (UTRs) that mediate UGA-to-selenocysteine (Sec) recoding and by predicting upstream selenoprotein coding sequences for annotation and evolutionary analysis.
