SpaceLID
SpaceLID curates a repository of published spaceflight life investigations (SLIs) to enable analysis of the effects of space environments on microbial, plant, animal, and human biological systems.
Key Features:
- Comprehensive Data Collection: Aggregates data on 448 SLIs covering 90 species (microbial, plant, animal, and human), 81 foods, and 106 pharmaceuticals, and includes 232 SLIs not present in NASA Life Science Data Archive, Erasmus Experiment Archive, or NASA GeneLab.
- Structured Metadata: Records studied phenomena, materials used, experimental procedures, analysis methods, and research outcomes for each SLI.
- Phenomena Catalog: Documents effects on microbial growth, survival, metabolite production, biofilm formation, virulence development, and drug-resistant mutations.
- Curated Bioinformatic Analyses: Contains curated bioinformatic analyses pertinent to spaceflight microbial phenomena.

- Microbial Adaptation Research: Supports analysis of mechanisms by which microorganisms adapt to space environments.
