SynTracker

SynTracker is a tool that compares microbial strains using genome synteny, a measure of the order of sequence blocks in homologous genomic regions. It is designed to be robust to sequencing errors and to track strains in metagenomic data, especially where traditional SNP-based methods are insufficient.
