T3DB consolidates biological, chemical, and mechanistic information on clinically significant toxins and their molecular targets into a unified electronic repository for toxicology research.

- Content scope: Contains over 2,900 small molecule and peptide toxins, 1,300 toxin targets, and more than 33,000 toxin–target associations.
- ToxCard entries: Each ToxCard comprises over 80 curated data fields describing chemical properties, descriptors, and toxicity values.
- Sequence and target data: Provides protein and gene sequences for toxins and their targets.
- Interaction and mechanistic data: Includes molecular and cellular interaction data, mechanistic descriptions, and literature references.
- Search capabilities: Supports extensive text searches, sequence analyses, chemical structure queries, and relational searches.
- Data model comparators: Data model and search types are similar to those used in the Human Metabolome Database (HMDB) and DrugBank.
