TFcancer
TFcancer provides a curated database of experimentally supported transcription factor–cancer associations to support analysis of TF dysregulation across human cancers.
Key Features:
- Extensive Data Collection: The database contains 3,136 experimentally supported associations between 364 transcription factors (TFs) and 33 cancers cataloged in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), compiled from manual curation of over 1,800 scientific literature sources.
- Multidimensional Focus: Emphasizes four dimensions—TF Expression, Molecular Alteration, Regulatory Relationships, and Biological Processes and Signaling Pathways—covering differential expression, genetic or epigenetic alterations, TF–target gene interactions, and TF roles in signaling and biological processes implicated in cancer.

Methodology:
Manual curation of over 1,800 scientific literature sources was used to compile 3,136 experimentally supported TF–cancer associations involving 364 TFs across 33 cancers cataloged in TCGA.
