TGStools enables comprehensive analysis of transcriptomes from long-read third-generation sequencing by characterizing full-length transcripts, detecting alternative splicing (including shifted types), identifying long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), and prioritizing transcripts through integration of annotation with genomic features.
