thpdb provides a curated database aggregating sequence, chemical, structural, and pharmacological data for FDA-approved therapeutic peptides and proteins to support bioinformatics, pharmacology, and drug development research.

- Content scope: Contains 852 entries comprising 239 FDA-approved therapeutic peptides and proteins and 380 drug variants.
- Data sources: Aggregates information from 985 research publications, 70 patents, and DrugBank.
- Sequence and chemical data: Provides primary sequences, chemical properties, and composition for each peptide and protein entry.
- Pharmacological and clinical annotations: Includes disease area, mode of activity, pharmacological class, pharmacodynamics, route of administration, toxicity, and target of activity.
- Physical and structural annotations: Records physical appearance and includes structural annotations for a significant subset of entries.
