TME-Analyzer
TME-Analyzer interrogates tumor microenvironments through interactive image analysis to identify spatial immune phenotypes and survival predictors in triple-negative breast cancer.
Key Features:
- Spatial Immune Phenotype Visualization: Enables interactive visualization of spatial immune phenotypes independent of image acquisition platforms.
- Immune Cell Distance Analysis: Computes cellular distances between immune effector cells as core parameters for survival prediction.
- Density and Network Analysis: Quantifies densities and networks of immune effector cells from multiplexed images.
- Multi-platform Compatibility: Analyzes spatial immune phenotypes from multiplexed immune-fluorescent images and multiplexed ion beam time of flight images.
- Survival Prediction: Identifies multi-parameter classifiers featuring cellular distances that predict overall survival.
Scientific Applications:
- Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Prognosis: Identifies spatial immune cell distribution patterns as predictors of overall survival in TNBC patients.
- Tumor Microenvironment Interrogation: Enables systematic search for contexture-based predictors of tumor evolution and therapy response.
- Cross-platform Validation: Validates survival classifiers across independent cohorts using different imaging modalities.
Methodology:
TME-Analyzer was benchmarked against two software tools regarding densities and networks of immune effector cells using multiplexed immune-fluorescent images of triple negative breast cancer, and a 10-parameter classifier predominantly featuring cellular distances was identified and validated using multiplexed ion beam time of flight images from an independent cohort.
