TWAS Atlas curates and integrates transcriptome-wide association study results to provide a centralized repository of gene-trait associations and multi-omics regulatory relationships.

  • Comprehensive Data Integration: Aggregates 401,266 high-quality gene-trait associations across 22,247 genes, 257 traits, and 135 tissue types sourced from 200 publications.
  • Interactive Knowledge Graph: Maps gene-trait associations alongside single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP)-gene interactions to represent regulatory relationships at multi-omics levels.
  • Research Metadata and Annotations: Links detailed research metadata and annotation information to association records and entities.

Scientific Applications:

  • Genetic basis of traits and diseases: Enables identification and analysis of genes whose genetically regulated expression associates with phenotypic traits and diseases.
  • Regulatory network construction: Supports integration of gene-trait associations and SNP-gene interactions to build multi-omics regulatory networks.
  • Interpretation of genetic regulation: Facilitates investigation of complex genetic interactions and the roles of genetically regulated genes in human health and disease.

Methodology:

Manual curation from extensive literature was performed to extract and aggregate high-quality TWAS association data.
