UNCURL-App

UNCURL-App performs systematic analysis of single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) datasets to support dimensionality reduction, clustering, differential expression, and cell type identification.

Key Features:

  • Integration of cell type databases: Incorporates cell type databases into the analysis workflow to assist cell type identification.
  • Interactive cluster manipulation: Provides tools to create, merge, and delete clusters for iterative re-analysis.
  • Comprehensive scRNA-seq analysis pipeline: Implements dimensionality reduction, clustering, differential expression analysis, and cell type identification within a single workflow.
  • Preprocessing support via UNCURL: Leverages UNCURL-based preprocessing as part of the analytical workflow.

Scientific Applications:

  • Cellular heterogeneity analysis: Enables characterization of cellular heterogeneity and gene expression patterns from scRNA-seq datasets.
  • Developmental biology: Supports identification of cell types and developmental trajectories in developmental biology studies.
  • Immunology: Facilitates dissection of immune cell populations and expression signatures in immunology research.
  • Cancer research: Assists in profiling tumor cell populations and tumor microenvironment components in cancer research.

Methodology:

Built on UNCURL for data preprocessing and clustering and implements dimensionality reduction, clustering, differential expression analysis, and cell type identification as stated.
