VarSCAT annotates sequence context of genomic variants to characterize breakpoint ambiguities, flanking bases, short tandem repeats (STRs), insertions/deletions (indels), wildtype and mutated DNA sequences, and variant nomenclatures for downstream genomics and clinical analyses.
