VRNetzer
VRNetzer provides immersive three-dimensional visualization and interactive analysis of large-scale biological networks to facilitate discovery of gene–disease associations in genome-scale molecular networks, including genes associated with rare diseases.
Key Features:
- Interactive Network Exploration: Enables immersive 3D visualization and interactive navigation of large-scale networks in virtual reality to mitigate unreadable "hairball" representations.
- Customization and Extensibility: Allows importation of user-defined code to implement custom data analysis tasks and extend analytical functionality.
- Integration with External Databases: Supports incorporation of external datasets and integration with external databases into network analyses.
Scientific Applications:
- Genome-scale molecular network analysis: Enables interactive exploration of genome-scale molecular networks to identify and prioritize genes associated with rare diseases.
- Systems-level analysis of complex interactions: Facilitates analysis of complex interactions in large datasets relevant to genomics and personalized medicine.
Methodology:
Performs general-purpose data exploration of large, diverse datasets by combining interactive VR visualization with advanced analytical methods.
