YOGY
YOGY retrieves orthologous proteins across nine eukaryotic organisms and aggregates orthology and Gene Ontology (GO) annotations to support comparative genomics and functional inference.
Key Features:
- Ortholog retrieval: Retrieves orthologous proteins across Homo sapiens, Mus musculus, Rattus norvegicus, Arabidopsis thaliana, Drosophila melanogaster, Caenorhabditis elegans, Plasmodium falciparum, Schizosaccharomyces pombe, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
- Input types: Accepts gene or protein identifiers from any of the supported species as query input.
- Integrated orthology sources: Aggregates orthology data from KOGs (Eukaryotic Orthologous Groups), Inparanoid, HomoloGene, and OrthoMCL.
