AllergenFP
AllergenFP is an alignment-free fingerprint approach that identifies allergens and non-allergens through a four-step algorithm that converts protein sequences into vectors and binary fingerprints, which are compared based on Tanimoto coefficient. The approach correctly identified 88% of 2427 known allergens and non-allergens with a Matthews correlation coefficient of 0.759.
