BTW

The BTW web server provides a way to compute time warping distance between two gene expression datasets, allowing the detection of genes with similar temporal expression and potentially related biological function. The web server allows for the uploading of two tab-separated text files of gene expression data, with possibly different numbers of time intervals and durations. It uses a recently developed symmetric algorithm to compute the distance and additionally outputs Boltzmann pair probabilities, which can suggest possible biological significance of certain positions in an optimal time warping alignment.
