CAMERA

CAMERA is an R package to address the challenges in metabolomics experiments utilizing liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS). While data acquisition in such experiments is often automated, the subsequent manual analysis for compound annotation and identification presents a significant bottleneck. CAMERA integrates various algorithms to automate these tasks, including extracting compound spectra, annotating isotopes, adducting peaks, and proposing accurate compound masses even in complex data sets. CAMERA introduces a novel annotation approach that leverages spectral information from data acquired in opposite ion modes, leading to an improved annotation rate.
