CLANS
CLANS is a Java application that uses the Fruchterman-Reingold graph layout algorithm to visualize pairwise sequence similarities in large sequence datasets in either two-dimensional or three-dimensional space. It is designed to improve the analysis of homologous relationships in cases where the number of potential relationships is large and where alignments and phylogenies become computationally demanding, accumulate errors and lose resolution.
