DeepBlueR

The retrieval of large amounts of epigenomic data for downstream analysis is a current bottleneck in research. To address this issue, the DeepBlue Epigenomic Data Server provides an efficient interface and API for filtering, transforming, aggregating, and downloading data from several epigenomic consortia. With this powerful tool, researchers can easily access and analyze public epigenomic data in a form suitable for downstream analysis.

The authors developed a R/Bioconductor package that connects to the DeepBlue Epigenomic Data Server. This package enables users to quickly gather and transform epigenomic data from selected experiments for analysis in the Bioconductor ecosystem. Researchers can now conveniently access and analyze relevant epigenomic data using R without having to spend a significant amount of time on data retrieval and formatting.
