ERGC
The software tool ERGC proposes a specialized compression algorithm for reference-based genome compression to address the growing need for efficient data compression and data reduction techniques for biological sequencing data. The tool performs better than the best-known algorithms for this problem, achieving competitive compression ratios and promising compression and decompression times.
