EquiSim
EquiSim introduces a dynamic and customizable digital model of the equine distal limb, addressing the limitations of existing static and subject-specific models in veterinary research. This tool is based on statistical shape modeling, enabling it to accurately represent the variability in bone geometry across different subjects while maintaining appropriate joint space distances for various poses. This flexibility makes EquiSim particularly useful for multiple applications, including computer-aided designs, 3D printing of bone implants, bone fracture risk assessments using finite element methods, and enhancing data registration and segmentation in clinical settings.
