FuncPatch
FuncPatch is a web server that performs a fast approximate Bayesian inference of conserved functional patches in protein tertiary structures, which is an improvement over existing methods that ignore the spatial correlation of substitution rates in protein tertiary structures. It is shown that FuncPatch is a good approximation to the slower GP4Rate, and simulations suggest that it is potentially a useful tool complementary to Rate4Site. FuncPatch is orders of magnitude faster than GP4Rate and is supported by experimental evidence.
