GASSST
GASSST is a software tool designed to provide fast and accurate alignment for large-scale next-generation sequencing applications without restricting indels in the alignment. It achieves high performance by using a series of filters to quickly eliminate most candidate alignments, including a main filter that uses a precomputed table containing the alignment score of short four base words aligned against each other. GASSST outperforms other state-of-the-art aligners in terms of sensitivity and overall execution time.
