GeneBase
GeneBase 1.1 is a tool that helps parse, structure, and index data from the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) Gene data bank, and now allows dynamic calculation and summarization of many quantitative parameters associated with genes, gene transcripts, and gene features. It enables unique functionalities not provided by the NCBI Gene itself and can be used for data retrieval, analysis, and testing of biological hypotheses. GeneBase 1.1 provides updated reference sources for human genome studies and data useful for setting parameters for bioinformatic tools.
