MIDAs

MiDAS is an R package for transforming and analyzing immunogenetic data, mainly focusing on HLA alleles and KIR types. It allows for recording input data into biologically meaningful variables, facilitating advanced analyses such as HLA amino acid fine mapping, studies of HLA evolutionary divergence, and analysis of experimentally validated HLA-KIR interactions. MiDAS also supports comprehensive statistical association analyses with phenotypes of various measurement scales to enhance the understanding and application of immunogenetic variations in immune and disease biology.
