Mergeomics

"Mergeomics" is a computational pipeline designed to tackle the complexity of understanding complex diseases, often resulting from multiple subtle disturbances in biological processes. This tool integrates multidimensional omics data—spanning genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, and beyond—across various datasets, platforms, study designs, and species. Its primary goal is to translate the vast and diverse molecular and statistical information into testable mechanistic hypotheses, thereby identifying the most promising targets for mechanistic studies.

Mergeomics consists of independent modules identifying biological processes perturbed in disease through multi-omics association data. It then maps these disease-associated processes onto molecular interaction networks to pinpoint potential key regulators or hubs. Unlike many tools confined to specific data types or settings, Mergeomics is versatile, accepting and integrating data across various omics platforms and species.
