MicroScope

MicroScope is an integrated platform that provides microbial genome annotation data and post-genomic experimental data to improve the understanding of gene functions. It allows users to perform manual curation of gene annotations in a comparative context and analyze genomes using various tools and graphical interfaces. The resource has been continuously updated since its first publication in 2006, and now contains data for over 1600 microbial genomes, of which around 300 are manually curated and maintained by biologists. The website has been significantly redesigned to be more user-friendly, and it is becoming a resource for the curation and analysis of both genomic and metabolic data, particularly related to environmental bacterial (meta)genomes.
