NanoMethViz

"NanoMethViz" is an R package designed to facilitate the effective visualization of DNA methylation patterns derived from long-read nanopore sequencing technology. The tool accommodates methylation calls from various methylation callers and efficiently manages large datasets using a compressed format. NanoMethViz offers diverse visualization options, allowing users to explore methylation changes at different resolutions. It includes sample-level visualizations using multidimensional scaling, aggregated methylation profiles for features like genes or CpG islands, and high-resolution views of methylation patterns across individual reads using a spaghetti plot. The tool enhances the convenience of handling methylation signals and seamlessly integrates with existing methylation analysis tools available in the Bioconductor project.
