ORegAnno
ORegAnno (The Open Regulatory Annotation) is a database of literature-curated regulatory regions, transcription factor binding sites, and regulatory mutations that have been submitted, indexed, and validated from users worldwide. It is designed to provide a dynamic collection of regulatory elements that can be easily accessed through MySQL, web services, and online. Submissions are immediately cross-referenced to several databases, including EnsEMBL, dbSNP, Entrez Gene, the NCBI Taxonomy database, and PubMed. The software is available under the Lesser GNU Public License (LGPL). ORegAnno is a community-based approach to gene regulation that aims to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date resource for researchers to study and understand gene regulation.
