ProtTest

ProtTest is a software tool that has been designed to help researchers select the best-fit model of evolution for a protein sequence alignment. To ensure accurate phylogenetic inference and a deeper understanding of protein evolution, it is important to use an appropriate model of amino acid replacement. ProtTest offers a range of candidate models to choose from, making it a versatile and valuable tool for bioinformaticians and researchers alike.
