RefPlus

RefPlus is an R package designed to address limitations of the widely used RMA methodology for pre-processing Affymetrix gene expression microarrays. Specifically, the package contains functions to perform the Extrapolation Strategy and Extrapolation Averaging algorithms, which address the issue of calculated probeset intensities changing when a set of microarrays is re-pre-processed after the inclusion of additional microarrays into the analysis set.
